I was at the Sprint store at 5am. Only 2 people there. By 7 when the opened the door about 40. I was in and out in about 20 minutes and that includes transferring contacts from my old Motorola Q.
I got to a Sprint Corp in Orange County California store at 6:30 with about 10 people already waiting. About 3 more have come since (7am now). there is about 15 or so of us. Someone just asked a sprint guy and he said they are opening at 8am. Right now they are setting up some outside booth, hopefully they can process these phones fast.
Standing in Line at the Sprint Corp Store I LA on LaCienega ... I am about the 10th person and 3 are behind me .... I washere at about 6:40 and could have been number 1 but I NEEDED my coffee ... Lol .... Anyway ... One of the store reps saidthey had about 200 units ... It's a Sprint Superstore so ... I'm getting my EVO ... I'm getting my EVO .
BB in brandon (Tampa) 15 in front of me... Got there right when they opened. Expect to be here for 2 hours. They did nothing special and don't even have chairs or a special table set up. WTF!
I'm sitting across the street from the Sprint store in a Starbucks (since it's raining). So far, no line out front. I think I'll just walk over at 7:55. Hopefully I'll have my EVO in hand in less than an hour from now.
