Anybody Without Problems?

No issues here. GPS took about 2 min to lock for the first time after the OTA was applied, after that its been under 10 all the time.

3G/4G handoffs is fixed for me as well!!! went to the canyons yesterday where i usually get 1x everytime i ride up there.....i had a steady 3G at the top and both start and end part of the canyon.

Battery is about the same, but never really had a problem since im rocking the extended battery.

As far as performance, still the same, and the stock messaging app still bogs down.....hope they can fix this soon.

Loved the phone though since day 1, and that hasnt changed at all!! still loving it!!

Zero problems here. The ota fixed a few of my issues. Now I'm rock solid.

Glad to hear that there are others who are good to go. As somebody posted earlier, sometimes only those with issues speak up and it seems that is everybody. When I start reading all of these problems, I start to think I made a bad decision. Good to feel that I haven't.

I have to say that my TB is better now witth the OTA update. It was fine before the update but, like everyone else, the battery was an issue.

With the update the battery lasts longer by a good stretch, GPS locks on within 10 seconds (usually half that) and I have had no random reboots.

I also tested bluetooth because I heard here that some were having issues. Over the past few days I have been using BT with my car - both the phone and audio and it has been great. No lost/missed calls and no hiccups with audio streaming either. I used Pandora and local MP3s with no issues. I have a non-stock Sony car stereo (one of the xplod models) for reference.

Downloaded the OTA last night and the GPS does seem a lot better. The only thing that I have noticed is that my battery seems to be draining even fast now.

The only thing that bothers me a little is the yellow spot you see when taking a picture, mainly in low light.

Sent from my HTC Thunderbolt.

No problems here! GPS is still not as fast as my D-inc was but it is slightly better than before the OTA. No random reboots and no unusual battery drain. It's been a rock solid phone so far

No issues to report here. Received the phone on May 3rd as an upgrade from my OG Incredible. Have been in love ever since.

No re-boots not initiated by myself before or after the OTA. Awesome phone!

No issues to report. Haven't had a reboot in a month. GPS has always been very fast and seems a little faster. Since I have an extended battery I don't pay much attention to battery usage.

First android phone and I really like it.

I've been running the new radio for the last four weeks and have only had three reoots. Everything else is fine.

I have to say that I really haven't had problems with my TBolt. No reboots, no peeling of the kickstand, decent battery life, good call quality, etc. For a brief time I had a problem trying to get a bluetooth earpiece to sync but it was something I was doing wrong not an issue with the phone. I have not rooted the phone.

I'm just curious, is there anybody not having any post-OTA problems? Based on reading the comments, it appears that every TB is now a dud. I can thankfully report that I have not had any random reboots (knock on wood), my switch over from 3g to 4g and back is now better, my GPS lock is better, still not perfect, and my battery life is still about what it was before.
I am in the Washington DC metro area and I am not rooted.

Did you ever think that people who are having problems tend to be more vocal then those who aren't? It's not as widespread as it seems, but still a problem that needs to be addressed nonetheless.

Within 10 hours of the OTA update my TBolt powered itself off for no reason with 73% battery charge remaining. For the next ~24 hours it stayed running but battery life was worse than what it had improved to after a month of use and a bit of tweaking. Now it actually resembles the battery life I was getting when it was new all over again. Day 3 after the OTA update and the first ever random reboot occurred.

Since that random reboot, battery life is back to what it was before the OTA update and there has been no recurrence of shutdowns or restarts. I took no evasive action whatsoever to facilitate this. Just watched the phone do its own thing.

Video volume has improved. GPS locks faster. LTE stays locked more often and switches to 3G when needed without dropping data connection altogether.

Hopefully mine has managed to get past the "shock therapy" of the update and is just getting on with its slightly improved life.

YMMV

No problems here except once in awhile the GPS takes a couple minutes to lock on.

Other than that I'm solid as a rock. Battery gets me thru the day and no rebooting issues.

Oh, and I rejected the latest update. I figure if it ain't broke....

The cool thing is that it does not nag you to update. I rejected it and not once has it asked me to update since. :)

No issues to report on my part.

Only real difference I've noticed so far is I now have audio when I record videos, which is a positive.
