Anyone buying the S Pen Pro?

Here is the Note 4 s pen nub. I never used it that much that it would get worn out. Looks like it's made out of white plastic and I don't know what the new S pen is made out of but something tells me that the old one is not making proper contact or optical contact. The newer s-pens both the regular and the pro seem to be black and much thinner at theip. Do we think that makes a difference?

I have seen a lot of information about the s pen pro. I have one now. While it is big, I like it. I have large hands and fingers (I'm 6'5") so I have always wanted a larger stylus ever since my first windows smart phone. It feels good and is much more accurate than my fat fingers. (No more fat finger text excuses!) I like the features it offers, especially the copy on one device and paste on another. I am just starting to play with it so haven't really unlocked a fraction of the potential.

One thing that seems confusing about the s pen fold and s pen pro. There are many places, Samsung, you tube, blogs and forums, that say the pens are not compatible with other devices. The pro even has a switch to make it not work with the fold 3. I have not had any issues using either pen on non fold screens. The s pen fold edition works on everything I own. The pro does so as well, even with the switch set for the fold. Not sure where everyone is getting this idea, but I am pleasantly surprised by these working on anything Samsung with a touch screen. Any one else able to use it like I do?

Just arrived today. Yes, it is rather large. But I ordered the optional block & Tackle so no trouble lifting. At Amazon it was $89 (block and tackle not included). I bought it to use with my Tab S4. So far it seems to work with most S-Pen functions. Instructions in the box says you must upgrade to ONE UI 3.1 for it to work. My S4 has UI 2.1 with no way I've found to upgrade to 3.1. Talked with Samsung support. Two questions they did answer 1) it is the UI 3.1 that is needed for the pen to work properly; and 2) they flat out said it would not work with the S4 with UI 2.1. This was after I told them it was already paired and working fine. They would not go near the question: if UI would even install on the S4 with Android 10.

Has anyone tried (side) loading ONE UI 3.1 on an older device? Is the APK even out there?

It is big but seems a bit more precise than my old S4 pen.

I just stuck with the s pen that came with the samsung case

I found my regular s pen I really don't have use for the pro I don't use the regular pen that much anyways. I would use it more if their were cuter cases that held the pen.
