What do you see as differences between the 2 phones, bad or good?

thanks

not coming from a TB but i hope this can help.
~~The Charge has a bigger battery 1600 vs. the TB having a 1400 mAh battery. this results in another (quoted) 5 hours of talk time.
~~The other things that made the choice for me is the screen. The AMOLED on the Charge is amazing compared to the SLCD of the Thunderbolt. both have the same resolution, but the brightness and viewing angles of the Charge are significantly better.
~~I am a fan of HTC sense instead of Touchwiz by Samsung, but these are things long term that wont matter if you root and change roms anyway as many post root mods remove the stock launcher anyway.
~~ 4G 3G Switching is noticeable better than on any Thunderbolt i have used. I live in a primarily 4G area but i had issues with the TB switching when it lost signal. check this thread for my solution to this issue if you do live in a area where 4G isn't as stable and you run into a issue. http://bit.ly/kJin38

no the annoyance ,to me at least, is more with the design of the app menus and the crazy bright colors it uses.. part of it is my being used to HTC and gingerbread but like i said in time we shall prevail comrades :)

not only is the battery bigger on the charge, but the screen uses less power as well. I don't have either, but i went from a d1 to d2g, which had huge battery issues. I rooted and did all the things to conserve battery, and bought the extended battery, but always looking at phone to make sure i can make it thru the day.

If you don't carry an extra battery, and don't want to have that nagging thought in the back of our mind, the charge might be better way to go.

If you don't care about swapping out batteries, tbolt might come up higher.

I tried the Thunderbolt for a week and returned it. The main problems being the earpeice was too loud with a hissing noise, light leakage on the bottom of the screen and piss poor battery. The Charge has not had any battery or build quality issues for me. The Thunderbolt has better software and ran smoother in my opionin but the complaints I listed were deal breakers for me. Also once you get a taste of Verizon's 4 G it's hard to go back.

Just completing my first full day with Charge. Screen is amazing. Battery life is much better. Touch wiz is a bit laggy. Call quality is excellent. Sense is better than touch wiz, but better battery life and screen you can see outside are well worth it. After I root the phone to eliminate the touch wiz lag, will be amazing phone.

The call quality is much better then my TB, that (other then the amazing screen) was the first thing I noticed.

Just a quick couple things:
i did have a Tbolt for 2 days, swapped for charge, my 2 cents so far:
Screen WOW
screen capture
camera options, for some reasons tbolt has no modes (mutli, panaramic, sports, macro, etc)
Phone weight!
I use Go Launcher (home screen transitions are killer, like sbp shell and GDE

some cons:
battery life for me is not much better than Tbolt - tbolt died by 2pm, charge by 5pm
No led's
media hub puts movies on 2gig internal storge (from what i can tell, no option to change)

Ill update more later....

Just want to bring this back up and see if we have anymore opinions? My TB seemed to delete a couple contacts that it must have thought I didnt need so I have just about had it with this phone :(

Ok folks well, i traded my Tb for the charge. So far im liking the charge. Ill play with it some more and let you all know my opinion of the phone is versus the TB.

I had the TB for about 5 weeks or so from launch day on. I had issues with BT, battery life and little things. I actually picked up the LG Revo, and liked it, but returned it the next day for the Charge. Ultimately I fear the LG Revo will not get enough Dev support to help it achieve its potential, plus what I thought was a big upside of 16GB of internal memory turned into 1.4GB of app space and 12GB+ of internal SD card for media. I want the memory all in once block so I can use it as I SEE FIT.

Well I picked up a charge tonight, I figure I will give it a test drive for a week or so to see how I like it and if I do I will sell my TB with 2 extra extended batteries to recoup some of the cost and if I dont like it I will just return it and pay the $35 restocking fee and wait for the next 4G phone to come along

I sold my tb yesterday. It's the charge till the gs2 for me. Charge is a nice phone. And the battery life owns the bolt.

I don't know anything about the charge but the Tbolt is a great phone. Of course the battery life won't be too decent. Do I have to say why no. I just bought the extended battery, it last for a day n half on one charge. That's with heavy use. HTC sense is great. I hate physical keys on the bottom couldn't stand it when I had the Droid x bc before the Droid I have the Captivate. Idk I love this phone

Tbolt
