Anyone coming to the OnePlus 5 from a Pixel?

I had a pixel XL and now on a OP5. If you miss the google now instead of the shelf why not just install nova launcher since it now supports the slide over google now window? You get better hardware with the OP5 with the same software look and feel of the pixel.

I don't know if I understand your question properly but Google Now will never be in the final version. Google doesn't allow any 3rd party to get Google Now and be on the Play Store. But the final version will allow to add the additionnal APK.

Its an add on APK to nova launcher. Don't care whether its beta or not ive been using it a few months and works just like the pixel one. Never crashed or had an issue. Just search google now nova launcher APK

The easiest way is to backup Nova settings from your old device and restore on OP5
First you must install all the apps to make the restore painless

I'd get the OnePlus 5, the gold version looks awesome. It's like $489 on geekbuying now.
