Anyone considering getting the Note 5 when it comes?

If you don't mind me asking, what is your opinion of the camera compared to the note 4? And then battery life? Thanks

Battery life after a week of use is as good as my note 4. I don't think there is a difference between the two. At least not how I use my phone.

For the camera. Well, Nexus has a good camera, but yes, it lacks a lot of features that Note 4 has. As for quality, for me, both have good quality. Does note 4 have better quality? Hmmm, ok sure, but does it really matter? They are both good cameras. One feature I missed on the note 4 is the ability to take slow motion videos. That is not there on Nexus 6.

In my opinion, people who like the Nexus, they do for its simplicity, pure android experience, And fast updates. Everything else is a bonus but Nexus 6 has a lot to offer. Things work and flow the way they were made to. It's a pleasant experience.

Great to hear... I am thinking of returning my note 4 if these issues aren't fixed soon. I know they might be silly things to complain about but they're rather important to me... And seeing how expensive this device is... Well that only maddens me even more... 😂 haha

got to play with the nexus this week at the vzw store. its a nice phone but the sealed battery kills it for me

I'm not having issues with my Note 4.

What Note 4 specific issues are you having?

Yes I also have not had a single issue since I updated to Lollipop. A lot of my friends and family own Note 4's also and aren't having any issues. We are all on different carriers as well.

Now I know that we don't represent the majority of Note 4 users. But everyone I have spoken to in person are very happy with Lollipop.

I think we represent the majority. Those without issues generally don't post on a message board that they aren't having issues.

AT&T also told me while some Note 4 customers are having some issues, it is a tiny fraction of all their Note 4 customers.

Yeah I think that most people that are having issues aren't clearing their system cache and doing a factory reset. One of the apps that they have installed in their phone may be another cause.

A good friend of mine who works for AT&T in their corporate office told me that they don't get many complaints on the Lollipop update for the Note 4.

For those wanting to get a nexus 6 if the note 5 has a fix battery. What's the sense in having a yearly phone upgrade and then going to a nexus 6. It makes no sense to me. Can someone pls enlighten me. By the time the note 5 is out, the nexus 6 will be old hardware (granted the software will be up to date).

some of us buy phones for fun regardless of upgrades. I used to buy a phone every 6 months till i got happily stuck using the note line of phones, then i bought them everytime a new note came out.

I upgrade once a year and wondered if anyone with a Note 4 now is considering the 5 when it comes in October? Hopefully it won't be just a bigger version of the S6 with no removable battery or no SD card support. 2 huge fails in my book. Or the Note 5 Edge or whatever they come up with for a 2nd model...

I love my Note 4....and am committed to keeping each phone for at LEAST two years if the OS gets updated. I found out with my S3, that,(for ME), there is RARELY a reason to get a new phone every year. So, I'm guessing my next one will be the Note 6 or 7.....

I love my note 4 so far. I just want to see if Samsung keeps the removable battery and expandable storage.
