I've had a couple nexus phones and a Pixel 1 and Pixel 3, but I think I'm leaning towards a 1+ 7T. I was considering the 7 Pro, but alot of reviews say it's so big, and while I want a larger screen I want it to usable. I'm also thinking that at 900-1000 dollars that I'd rather spend less because I'll want to upgrade sooner than later when a 5G comes along. What are people thinking? Anyone else in a similar situation?

If you are looking for a reasonable priced phone, then yes, that is an excellent phone. If money is not an issue, and camera is a priority for you, you will NOT like that phone.

Get the pixel 4 if money is not an issue is my advice.

Can you wait until 5G comes along? At that time you'll have the latest phone info and can make the best decision.

Me! My Motorola Droid Turbo is about to crap out. I'm leaning 7T. I don't care about camera or wireless charging (haven't used it once with my current phone).

I just wish Verizon would carry it.

Honestly I'd get a OnePlus 6. It's the last OnePlus to have a notification LED, a headphone jack, it's a bit shorter and weighs lighter than the 7T, the cameras are a lot less ugly than the 7T, and the SD845 has plenty of power for years to come.
And also comes in nice colors: bright Red, frosted style matte Black and White/Gold.

And even that one was big to begin with. The new ones are too unwieldy

I pulled the trigger on the pixel 4 xl. I was back and forth on which one I would want. Ultimately I went with the pixel due to sprint only having the 5g 7 pro. While I do have 5g where I live and work, I do not want to upgrade my plan from 80 bucks for 2 lines to 120 for 2 lines. No need to increase my base cost by 40 bucks for spotty 5 g.
