Anyone else bummed the screen is curved?

I was really excited to have this be my first OnePlus device. Then I saw that the screen was curved which is an automatic deal breaker for me. Everything else about the device is exactly what I want. OnePlus's weak spot is photos which is perfect for me because I could care less about taking tons of pictures.

I don't mind curved screens as such. But I don't like how they looked with cases on. And curved screens seem more vulnerable to drops. As most cases don't really protect the sides of those screens.

I also dislike curved screens. Most users with curved screen mobiles will use cases anyway so takes away the point of the curved screen. The same can be said of mobile phone cameras. if you want all the bells and whistles of a good camera, buy one!! Use the phone for it's intended purposes which is NOT for taking pictures. Rant over!!

Buying the Samsung S24U certainly doesn't help.

I've been done with Curve "Infinity" displays for years. Annoying AF to deal with and there's no Tempered Glass available.

I scratched my 11, an inch guessing from my keys last month and been debating if I should upgrade to 12 but hate the curve.

I didn't want to spend flagship anymore so I ended up going with the 12R.

Me too. It is much easier to use the S Pen.

The S24 Ultra that I bought and also the one my sone bought come with a FLAT screen. Ours came from VF and o2. They are UK spec.
