From everything I read here, I'm looking forward to 4.3 in my Nexus 4. As for now, I'm waiting until it shows up in my system updates. I've only had the N4 a month, and don't want to do anything to void the warranty.

Further, like so many others, I'm also eager to see what the Moto X is all about

1. I mentioned Spotify to point out the Social Login. It has nothing to do with Pandora and I wasn't looking for Suggestions.

2. When I said "development" I wasn't talking about development documents or anything developer related. I said I wish there was more development on the services end to make it a bit more convenient, like those other platforms. I'm pretty sure I mentioned more platforms than iOS, so I'm not sure why it turned into "someone wants to yell that they're buying an iPhone." Apple's services are just as non-portable as Google+-encumbered services.

3. Just because someone mentions a competing platform doesn't mean they're de facto putting down one or trying to start a flame war about it. This is probably the wrong place to have this discussion, anyways, since this forum is full of enthusiasts and I'm actually looking for a different type of opinion (something a bit more average). I don't need to be lectured on the under the hood changes, the performance of the OS update, etc. I know all that. I'm not new to this.

I am not a hardcore fan of any mobile OS. Over the past two years I've owned over 7 different mobile devices. Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and Blackberries. I'm too busy to worry about specs, catch phrases, and clich?s. I want a device that just works, doesn't require 3rd party app hunting for stock functionality, is decently supported, and is working towards improving the user experience without killing my workflow. I just wish Google would do more of that, instead of offloading it to their OEM partners (who are the ones who seem to be focusing on this area, not Google).

And yes, when you are going to spend $5-700 on a new phone, it's worth it to have the discussion.

I just chose the wrong place to do so (am currently discussing it on Twitter with some people, and it's going a bit better ). Sorry for the disruption.

I think 4.3 is a pretty nice update. It has some new user features, but most of the stuff is under the hood. In fact under the hood its a huge update.

Look at iOS7... no new features.... just design changes.

Android is still the best OS in the world period.

iOS 7 is filled with under the hood changes, plus the major visual over haul. Plus there is no need to drag iOS into this. I do agree with you it is a good upgrade. I know many want everything to change frequently but that is not good for business. Jellybean is pretty close to excellent, and is in no need of a major overhaul. Google seems to be working hard on its services though.

I'm disappointed in how hateful some of you are. While I'm sure we all really like our phones and the manufacturers, there is no need to disrespect or belittle someone who chooses a different make or model. It ultimately comes down to each specific user and what they need. If you can't be supportive, or "don't want to hear it," please, don't respond. The only clutter in these forums is the snide and uncalled for comments that derail and disrupt every thread they are found on. And yes, they are inevitable. No one should have to apologize for "their disruption," when honestly, they are just trying to seek advice or share insight.

This thread has been cleaned up. I really hope I don't have to come back and clean it up again.

That actually is a bit disappointing, because the GNex hardware actually does support BT LE, doesn't it?
