I got a prompt to download software version 2.31.651.7 CL258838 today. Just was interested if anyone else got it, and what exactly it addresses.

Man, I just got .5 last night. I see .6 is around and now you got .7?? What's going on?

They are all updates the .5 and .6 where are RUU's well .6 was a ota then a ruu. The .7 is the most recent update.If you want to keep root then there is roms to choose from that are built with the new .7 OTA cooked in.

mainly the dialer lag that has been happening to some ppl. i got mine and it fixed it but ive heard of it not working for some ppl

Yeap,google is slowly updating their apps.Check out the google version of youtube in the market.(it might only be for 2.2 im not sure but if you search youtube look for one made by google.)
