Anyone else have light bleeding on the left hand side?

Have it on mine as well. Seems the degree varies by phone, but I see it in two spots along the left, by the volume rocker and about 4/5 of the way down. Pretty damn annoying for a phone of this price.

I've had terrible luck with notes... Note7, then a Note8 that froze once a day (there's a few threads on that, several people had the problem) and now this.

I would consider this the least severe of the 3 issues, but by contrast the two S-series phones I've owned have been flawless; the S7 Edge and the S9.

I wonder if it'll annoy me enough to exchange it. Kinda hard to unsee once you notice it. Then again, I'm the type to upgrade my phone at least once a year, so the problem is technically temporary.

there's always people claiming light bleed every year, it seems totally random and in many cases it's a non-existent problem only in peoples head but even when not just imagination it is just the way the phones are manufactured

That's nonsense. Almost as bad as the AT&T rep looking at the light leak with her own eyeballs, and telling me that it's supposed to be like that and if it bothers me, put a case on it.

I refuse to look :D

If you don't notice it yourself, you're fine. I feel like if you have to open a white screen and turn off all the lights to see it, it's a non-issue.

Though it's minor, I noticed it myself on my Note9, sitting at home in the afternoon during normal use. Never noticed such a thing on my S7 Edge, Note8, or S9 though it very well may have been there.

It's just annoying because it's hard to unsee once you do notice, and you want your expensive new device to be perfect.

They claim it because it's there. Get over yourself.
