anyone else have pictures in DOWNLOAD folder disappearing?

i have had two tablets, both of them have the same problems. once in a while, downloaded pictures in the download folder will become totally gray. if the tablet restarts, then sometimes, those gray pics will be viewable again, but most of the time, those gray pictures will completely disappear!

no other pictures in other folders have the same problem.
