Anyone else have this on camera lens of Pixel?

[Tired of crap]

Just recvd 2nd Pixel 9 Pro XL (returned 1st one bc of very small pin hole on left top side of camera lens) and this one, right out of the box, has the exact same thing. Is this a defect or suppose to be there? Can feel it with fingernail or if I rub my finger across the camera bar. Took a pic with old phone (with and w/o flash) but difficult to see. I'm new here but going to try to post the pics. Thanks I'm advance for any help.

The hole is normal and is part of the laser focusing system for the camera. Enjoy.

The top left hole looks to be zoom in mic for Audio and is Normal

Welcome to Android Central! I would say there's zero chance of that. If any dust were to get in, that would be a sign of either damage (e.g., dropping the phone causing a crack, with the dust getting in that way) or defect (in which case you should contact Google for warranty service.

Yep, got that hole on mine, had phone since day one.. It's been in very dusty and dry conditions and also damp and wet places with no problems.

I bumped my phone at work, wasn't sure if the bolt even hit the camera but I freaked out.

I was wiping it and felt the hole. I was like OFFS. I kept looking for cracks...

I finally thought of Googling it and was like phew!

The previous 3 Pixels have this hole?

On the 7 Pro, the hole is right between the LED flash and the telephoto lens.
