anyone else having erratic phone call notifications?

Most of the time, when my phone rings, my Gear S2 buzzes and lets me know. But now and then, my phone will be ringing in my pocket and my Gear S2 does nothing. I check the watch and it says it is still connected via bluetooth to my phone. Anyone else having this issue?

Been having the same problem with s2 not getting an incoming call notification two or three times this week. Got a text notification before and after, so strange. Also a few times this week, texts didn't buzz, but emails and others did. Weird.

What was your solution? I'm having the same problem. I rebooted my watch twice.

Just for the record, I haven't been having this problem lately. My S2 Classic has buzzed properly for calls and texts for the last two weeks. So I'm still not sure what the possible causes of the problem are.

Didn't get two notifications today and they were on phone when I opened phone app. Those missed notifications happened when I was texting someone else, that could be a clue since it happened to someone else getting a text before/after.

I read that by design if your screen is on, notifications don't get sent to your watch. the assumption being that if the screen's on, you're looking at your phone and will therefore see the notification.

I have not seem this officially stated though, so caveat emptor!

there is an option in the Gear app as to whether you want to receive notifications on the S2 when your phone screen is on. You have a choice to, or not to, receive them on S2.

This is the first time I noticed it for weeks. So it's been rare. But it continues.
