Anyone else having problems downloading documents ?

Hi,

Have any of you had problems viewing documents you've downloaded on your Note 8?

I purchased a parking lot ticket for an event I'm going to. When clicked on download the pdf of my parking pass, the Note 8 seems like it downloads it, but then in just like disappears, instead of opening It up or asking if I want to. It won't then pull up or open the pdf like my Note 5 and every other phone I've owned does. It doesn't show a message on the top screen notification area either that the pdf or form was downloaded.

Other phones it would show a document was downloaded top of screen and I could open it, this isn't happening on my Note 8 and I'm not sure why. I've tried finding a downloaded file on the phone storage and memory card, can't find anything.

I did Just today install Adobe app, then tried downloading the pdf again and still no luck. The top of the screen didn't show a message it was downloaded, and I have no clue what my issue is. I never had to go out of my way in other phones to be able to view downloaded documents, was hoping some of you might be able to help me.

Have you considered the site is having a problem and is not sending the file out? Have you tried other sites and files?

Did it start the downloading icon? Go to the My files app for recent or downloads. It should be there. I've downloaded plenty of work and related docs on mine

Downloaded my first pdf document today the phone N8 automatically installed I believe that was Hancom office editor

Have you considered the site is having a problem and is not sending the file out? Have you tried other sites and files?

I seemed to have had the same problem trying download stuff from Verizon after i bought my phone. Ended up finding the Verizon documents in my files downloads. The pdf from this parking site don't seem to exist anywhere on my phone or card.

If I turned off notifications for Hancom, pdf viewer, stuff like that, would that possibly be causing a problem ?

When I click the pdf, you see a window kind of pop up then just disappears. At that point I don't see any notice up top the pdf was downloaded and isn't in my files or card. Starting to wonder if having Norton installed is preventing the pdf from downloading.
