I got my wish last year in the Epic 4g. Can I get it again this year? All the goodness of the european Galaxy S II plus a slide ou qwerty. As a bonus, the epic also adds little things that the original galaxy s didn't have like the notification light, camera button, camera flash, rounder edges (personal preference).

I am hopeful that Sprint will provide a heathy upgrade from my Epic 4g later this year. I'm hoping Epic 4g II...

agreed I want another samsung phone but I'm afraid it will be a while before we'll see one since i haven't heard of a cdma version. Plus is sprint going to be putting out anymore wimax phones?

I am waiting for the EpicII too. With a screen as large as 4.3", I am not too sure if a physical keyboard would be needed as much as with smaller screens. But it is certainly a plus.

I got the Evo on release day, but got the Epic about 2 months ago. I'm glad I made the switch but I want to go back to a slate device. Either way, I'd get it for Orion and Super AMOLED Plus. But talks of quad-core in August?!

I may wait a little while (September-ish), let the field play out.

A SGS2 slider would be my dream hardware, but as I live in Europe I doubt such a phone will be released anytime soon if ever! Sadly, the Epic was never released in Europe, and I fear it will like be the same for SGS2 but if your reading Sammy... pleeeeeeaaase!!! My dream phone would be something like a SGS2 slider with sense or stock... let's see what HTC come up with in the coming months!

I love this keyboard.. I think some people complain about the thickness of it... But I think on the next Epic they might not ... I don't even think they will call it that.. I hope they do ... I will be waiting for it before I decide ...

Just wondering, has there ever been a 4.3 inch slider?

If there is, I can't recall right now. I think the Epic 4g with its 4 inch screen might be the biggest slider around. The upcoming Xperia Play has a 4 inch screen also. HTC and Moto have something about making a slider with a screen larger than 3.7 inches.
