I'll admit, the thought has crossed my mind a few times in the last day. I do feel like there are a few small design flaws, like the camera bump, gets in the way with some wireless charging. I have always said, even since the note 10/+ that they shouldn't have a camera lip/bump and just even out the thickness and give us the headphone jack back and a bigger battery. I also think they should just phase out the S line and replace it with the Fold/Z line. Keep the Note as the niche device, since there is nothing like it out on the market. Literally, no other device that even uses a stylus, comes close to the Note and how it can use the SPen. With that said, I think I am going to keep this one.
This is the first time I have upgraded Year over Year since I switched to the Note line from BlackBerry. I was a Note7 refugee that got stuck with the S7E. That was the only reason I went from the S7E to a Note8... I originally wanted a Note, and the S line just didn't cut it for me. Also, a few life changes are happening, and I am getting a jump start on future proofing my device for the next 2 or 3 years, and even more so now, since the commitment of OS updates for 3 years from Samsung.
Coming from the note10+, I do feel this is a marginal update. Honestly, every year is a marginal upgrade, going back to the Note7. So, I hope in the next 3 or so years I will see a big enough upgrade. So, I am getting ready to wipe my Note10+ to send it back on Monday morning.
