Anyone else returning their Note 20 Ultras?

Returned mine today, first day i take it to work, battery is at 99 when i leave for work at 1130am, by 330 sitting on my desk with all apps closed its at 69 percent. suffered a few lags and freezes, oh well ill go back to my 11 pro max and wait for pixel 5
Lol you seriously returned it after one day of use? It takes about a week for the battery to ne optimized to your usage.

I just can't decide if it's worth the move from 10+. Got a couple more days to decide. Hate the camera bump.

Re: Anyone else returning their note 20 ultras?

Screen time was on about 1 hour, 40 mins when i plugged it in so my usage has been very light but still was draining a lot in standby.

My phone was draining 1% every 15 mins it seems when looking at the AOD. Maybe I have too many widgets that are consistently using battery.
Do you live in a 5G coverage area? If not, turning off 5G will greatly increase battery life. It did for me.

Sure did, but when I got my device I was home for a few days, went back to work. So I used it for 2-3 days before I went back to work.

Unless you have AT&T, they don't let you toggle it off. Lame.

I did on Verizon, unless I don't understand the setting.

This thread is a bit frustrating. People who have legit issues I understand, those things happen with every phone. Sometime you get a lemon.

But it's frustrating seeing people want to return their phones for things they were aware of before purchase. Basically every variant is back ordered, people are still waiting on their devices and yet we have people buying phones they aren't even sure they want and making people who actually want it wait. Pretty selfish.

It'm not going to return my Note Ultra, however, it would be nice to get a software/systems update in general. My Note Ultra has some hiccups; audio not playing (both bluetooh and phone speakers), and general freezes.

Restarting the phone seems to work, but it's a short term fix.

What happens if you put the phone in Safe Mode which disables any downloaded apps and leaves the stock ones Live ?

I'm giving it another 5 days or so before I decide. I love the device but need to see how battery life levels out.

I ended up returning my Note 20 Ultra. I felt like I had to gimp the phone too much to get decent battery life (turn off 120Hz, turn off all location access, turn down the brightness, etc.) and the trade-offs weren't worth it. I don't know what happened, but the battery life was terrible. I was able to sell my accessories to those who wanted them.

I am back on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I didn't have to compromise battery life on this phone and I didn't have to gimp my iPhone to get good battery life.
