How do I turn 5g off? I live in the mountains of NY. No 5g up here. NYC is 4 hours away that is the closest 5g near me.
120Hz is way over rated considering the extra battery juice it requires. I was excited about it when I got my S20 and then I stopped using after seeing how much juice it ate up. I ended up getting regular Note 20. That's how much I care about 120Hz, but to each their own.
There is no restocking at Samsung.com, Amazon, Apple.Everyone has restocking fees that I know of. Guess I'm not sure about Samsung
Different details matter to different persons. I have no problem with the camera bump's size because I use a case that helps protect it. The reality is that this is where phone's are going for a bit so we gotta get used to them. I love the way the 2020 Notes look. Its amazing to me how people complain about such letty things that don't actually affect any thing, like a camera bump. You would think this thing sticks out multiple inches by the way people act. Lol. I actually like the camera bump. Its the most classy designed camera module on the market. Who cares if it sticks up further than other camera bumps? How does that negatively affect you?
In regards to the rattle, EVERY Samsung phone has done this for at least the past few years. This just does it worse than others. Put your old Samsung phone near your ear and shake it gentley back and forth and you will hear it. My S10+ did that too. Its normal and diss not negatively affect anything. It does this in any phone with OIS because the lens is mounted to a little thing that allows it to move to reduce blur in photos from shaky hands. The only way to not have this is a phone without OIS, which I wouldn't give up OIS just for a slight rattle if shaken.
My only complaint has been the display being less vivid with less contrast versus other phones. Like the Note 20 standard, and Note 10+, and OnePlus 8 Pro, and Oppo Find X, and others. But its still not bad enough to make me return it. Keeping it at 90% manual brightness indoors in a lit room, with vivid mode, with color temp set 2 notches cooler, and high performance mode, all help boost the vividness and contrast of the display.
True but even on exynos 3.5 to 4 hours SOT is horrible.

I ordered an unlocked bronze 128GB Ultra last Thursday and was given a delivery date of September 11. It will be delivered tomorrow. I'm not 100% sure I'll be keeping it, primarily because of the size, but I want to try it. But because of the steep discounts I would likely sell it, rather than return it.This thread is a bit frustrating. People who have legit issues I understand, those things happen with every phone. Sometime you get a lemon.
But it's frustrating seeing people want to return their phones for things they were aware of before purchase. Basically every variant is back ordered, people are still waiting on their devices and yet we have people buying phones they aren't even sure they want and making people who actually want it wait. Pretty selfish.
There are no huge improvements one year to the next. Every other is where the bigger jumps are. The N20U is an improvement in alot of areas though. Cameras are better, display is better, battery is bigger, s pen is better. What is it exactly you are looking for?To be honest, coming from the Note 10+, the Note 20 Ultra was an impulse, "I'm a bachelor with money to blow" purchase. Maybe I'm slow, but I don't see one fundamental difference or improvement in the phone. Even Flossy Carter released a video stating that there's no real need to upgrade from the 10+, albeit, after I had purchased mine. I want to love this phone, but I just really don't see any difference and it certainly isn't as appealing as the "Silver Surfer" 10+.
What am I missing here?
The S-pen on the left side makes me not want to use it at all (the S-pen). If that's the case I mine as well keep what I have and throw the Note up for sale.
Coming from a galaxy s9+, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. From the glamorous display size with minimal bezels and adaptive refresh to the marvelous bronze(rose gold lol) color and bump that just hits aestheticly different. It's noticeably more responsive than my s9+ was and the 5g has improved my connection around town. The pen has the awesome features I came to appreciate from the tab s6. The cameras are just BOSS status. This device is clearly marketed and priced for luxury. I completely understand those that come from last year's models but I'm my eyes upgrading is only worth it after at least 2 and a half years. I have absolutely no regrets with my purchase.
This is correct, so its either take measures to prolong battery life or return itsimples
Am on FHD, 60hz, no 5G, putting apps to sleep. Next step is just turning the phone off lol.
Just gutted as I love everything about this phone. LOVE the camera especially, as well as all the touches with multi window, pop up window, display quality etc.
