Seems to happen about 50% of the time walking in or out of a store to me with my 6 Pro.
Anyone know if this is the phone, a setting, or an app of some sort?

NFC? Is the NFC turned ON? If yes, try it with the NFC OFF; unless you use NFC (near field communcations); however, honestly can't figure out how NFC would set off a magnetic sensing type alarm (unless they have changed over the years). Do you have an ID card with a magnetic strip? A hundred years ago, I had a ID card issued that used to set off alarms in the DC area, is some cases a metal detector due to my gun, but in some it was those shop lifting alarms. They were magnetic type strips on those cards.

Are you positive it is the phone? Have you set off the alarm, the went back through, handed your phone to a store employee, then walked back through the alarms posts?

Definitely no lol but I would definitely start checking your pockets my friend. Lmfao..

Damn, just me is it?

- I checked my NFC and it is off.
- Definitely the phone. I walked into a store, set off alarm (per normal), left phone inside, tested with and without, definitely my phone.
- Empty pockets lol, so no accidental discounted items.

Weird.

Possibly something to do with UWB capability on the Pro model? (the fine-tune location ability, not the top 5g band)

"a store to me with my 6 Pro." I believe you mean a store by you; therfore, it only happens in this one store. If true might be a problem wth their equipment picking up the wireless coil in the phone.

This!

He should going in with the case off. I frequent a Walmart and I've never had a problem. I go like every other day.

I actually have no idea if any case would set off an alarm, but just in case, it would help narrow things down.
