Anyone find a SOLID Volume Key wake-up app?

As we know the power button is in the 'wrong' place. I've been extremely frustrated in any of the normal 'Volume Key wake' programs not working with the Bionic (or most Motos for that matter). Has to be a Blur thing as Sense does not affect these. ALL these programs work on HTC devices.

I've tried Widget Locker (my preferred app), No Lock, Fix Power Button, and about 3 others. NONE work consistently. Maybe 1 out of 10 presses of the Volume Keys will wake but none work 100% of the time.

Anyone find a magic app or setting that will work?

Thanks!

Mike

What's odd is that ALL Volume Key wakeup programs work while the phone is being charged (AC or USB). NONE work while unplugged. WTH?

I have nothing to add but wanted to add my "me too". I've posted this before too without response.

It does not appear to be a bug, since it is 100% consistent. I have all power saving and data saving options turned off, to no affect. Something seems to have changed in the sleep behavior - like there is a light sleep and a deep sleep. For instance, if the phone is plugged in, then it never goes into the "deep" sleep and wakes up 100% of the time from the volume (when using No Lock or similar). If not plugged in, then it will be in "deep" sleep, though it seems to go into "light" sleep periodically - you can keep hitting the volume, as you probably know, and eventually it will wake up.

EDIT: I have the latest leaked OTA. The behavior has not changed.

Why do you hate where the lock button is so much? It doesn't seem like a big deal to anyone else.

I prefer where it is, especially over the X and Samsung devices. If it is in your right hand you use your index finger, if it is in your left. you use your thumb.

I agree with you, I've actually come to like the lock switch on the left side, especially being right handed.
