Anyone finds the iPhone Keyboard better?

I love the S7, love the size, it's perfect for me and I hate using iPhones in order not to deal with iTunes to copy my data.

The thing is, yesterday I was at the Gym and some d00d told me to type my phone number for him to he can ask me questions later, so I grabbed his iPhone 6 and I don't know what was it about his keyboard that made me feel it's much easier to type on, the keys were more spaced out and even though on paper, the Galaxy S7 AMOLED screen is better, his screen looked so crisp as I was looking at a freshly made glossy paper out of the factory.

Maybe because I have a clear screen protector on mine? (not glass)

I'll just say that yes, I find it better.

like no matter how much I try, I always keep hitting the wrong keys on my S7, tried all diff. kinds of keyboards like SwiftKey and Google Keyboard and I increased the size of the default Samsung Keyboard but it's nowhere near as easy to type on the iPhone.

Mind you, this is coming from a person who doesn't like the iOS or iTunes or Apple in general

I used Google Keyboard and disabled the character preview and found out it helped a bit but it wasn't as easy to type on.

It's the large spaces between the keys. Visually, our minds register the design of they keys as where to press. The bigger spaces between the keys and the generally smaller buttons make us more accurate in pressing because we think we have a smaller area of sensitivity to press on. With the bigger buttons on the Android design and hence smaller spaces between the buttons, we generally think that like a real button keyboard we have a bigger area for mistake and our minds just approximate the location of the button. It leads to mistypes because unconsciouslly we think hitting the edge of the button is alright. I noticed I type better and more accurately when I use themes that actually remove the 'button edges design', since you'd not know how big the actual space for pressing is and tend to press directly on the letters.
