Since the local store was out when I did my warranty replacement, I had to call customer service. Ugh. I'd rather see that the phone is fine before doing this again.
This is actually the exact reason I had mine replaced. I remembered the iPad story and gave it about two weeks (ordered mine on launch day) but it never got better and my eyes never adjusted to it so I finally called up VZW. Had no trouble getting a replacement sent out, and when I had the new one and old one turned on side-by-side the difference was pretty amazing. I should've taken a photo!
Edit: I misread the OP, but yeah. The yellowish screens ARE out there. You should definitely give someone a call.
