Anyone get JuiceDefender properly setup on their EVO?

So I have been using JuicePlotter to track my battery drains and I decided to give JuiceDefender a try, but when I have it go through the Setup Wizard and do it's thing, it tried to download and install some file and fails every time. Then I get something saying that most CDMA devices will suffer from that and I should root it and yada yada yada. However, my phone is unrevoked-rooted and it even says it is during the setup wizard.

Anyone got it working? If so, is it really worth it? Do you see a significant difference in battery life? Is it worth to go with UltimateJuice!?

Thanks in advance...

I uninstalled JD after I realized its network optimizations were for GSM. Yesterday I saw a JD Google Group where a brand new build is being beta tested, but I couldn't discern from the discussion that CDMA optimization was addressed. I was too lazy to try it without an explicit mention of CDMA compatibility. I suppose it's a priority for the author, given the popularity of the Droid, but who knows?
