Anyone getting stuck on "saving..." after taking a picture?

[Android Central Question]

My new LG G6 is stuck on Saving... after trying to leave camera. It shows the taken picture on the down right thumbnail, but can't leave the menu.

I have to close the Smart Cover to be able to go back on the home screen, and the picture isn't saved.

However, when I take a picture on whatsapp, there's no problem, the pic is sent as it has to do.

Any Idea? I've tried clearing cache and reboot already

If you are saving pictures to an SD card, and there's a problem with the card, it could lead to that behavior.

are you saving the pictures to the phone or the SD card? I had that issue in the beginning with my SD card not saving pictures or videos near instantly.

I've had this exact same problem when saving photos to SD card.
