Are any of you Prime owners considering selling the TF201 and getting the Nexus 7? I'm aware of the screen size difference but is that a deal breaker for anyone? It's half the price and maybe wifi works better :/ thoughts?

Nah. The prime has a bigger+better screen, and the keyboard dock is killer, especially with the USB and battery. Plus, I've come to trust Asus with updates. Faster processor and more storage seals the deal for me.

You forget the price difference. For most people that's a consideration.

I'd get a Eee Pad Infinity before a Nexus 7. I still feel like we got the short end of the pooper scooper for purchasing the original Prime. They just redesigned it with a stable wifi, GPS, and added a new resolution screen to it and called it another tablet. They could have easily halted production of the Prime and gave the buyer a choice of refund or exchange for the Infinity. I'm happy with my Prime, but I still feel slighted by Asus.

I'll enter the contest and take it if I win, but I won't buy it otherwise.

Not for myself, I love the 10" and dock, but I'm getting one for my 92 y.o. mother and her fiance to replace the 10 y.o. notebook that is murder to maintain.

I will only consider the Nexus 7 as a second device.

a 7" tablet is very compelling, but after buying new car and the prime, i'm outta money...

Yes. $200 is not bad considering the heavy punches it can duel out. Who cares about a rear camera? Use your phone. Also hear a lot of complaints about not enough storage for music. That's why they invented the cloud. I do wish it had 3g capabilities though since there aren't a lot of wifi connections on my side of town

Ordered the 16g....but without HDMI or SDCard, will still use my Prime. The videos I have seen shows the 7 blazing through pages much faster than mine. Hope it is jb or the new Chrome and that my Prime will get up to that speed!

Bought an 8GB one for my son to replace his Kindle Fire... but I still enjoy my Prime and dock.. warts and all.

If I hadn't bought the Prime.. then perhaps I would have considered it instead.

Yeah I am going to sell my Prime (with Keyboard dock and GPS Dongle) and get the Nexus 7!

I could never downsize to a smaller screen now. And, the dock is great, changes the experience of a touchscreen device completely. And the second battery in the dock is great.

Besides, phones are getting close to being seven inches themselves. :p Why would I want a tablet only slightly bigger than a phone I could own.

I ordered the 8gb on Saturday - it's out for delivery. Should be here in a few hours.

Mainly want it for better wifi. Love the Prime for home and office, but the weak WiFi is usually useless in hotels. Smaller size might be nicer on the road too. For $200, its worth trying out.

My prime has gotten very glitchy since the last update. Never had many fc's before, now have them constantly. Hopefully nexus 7 will lead us to jellybean quickly.

After many hours of bangin' on the Nex7, not a single glitch, reboot or FC so far. Proof positive that Asus can get it right. Except the wall charger - having to use the charger from my Prime!
