Took the Xmas JB leak and played around on the stock ROM for a bit then switched over to another ROM and have been on there since then. Well since the new OTA is out, I grabbed the smaller patch file that VZW put out for the people that already had the xmas release version. Well I thought I had only froze everything and not deleted everything but it seems I did delete a few things.

So what I need is, either a batch from TB with all the stock apps or if there are fast boot files for JB yet (highly doubt there are)

Or any other suggestions of things I can do that I might be just over looking.

Just going to pull from the leak file. Should be good to go in a little bit.

What error message are you getting?

Iam getting system/framework/core.odex
About 20% in it tells me failed.
Tried official OTA
Sideloaded OTA
and tried Safestrap version got the same error everytime.

What safe strap version is there? I haven't had time to look into this very deep reason why I went ahead and posted in here.

I'm not getting past the preinstall due to it says the missing Google chrome app which I had previously disabled through the app settings then after coming back from my custom ROM, all the disabled apps had went missing.

Matt's utility 1.90 will work for you. It has the fast boot files for x-mas leak.
Also the fast boot files for official Ota .16 are also supposed to be available now on XDA, but I have not seen them myself yet.

I will check it out. Like mentioned above I haven't kept up with this stuff since ICS leaks were out. Was unaware matt had a new utility out for JB.

The only fastboot files I have seen is for the M which I guess would be safe for the RAZR.

I actually think I saw Matt's new utility on droidrzr.com (NOT droidrazr.com to different sites.) but I am sure it on xda.
Fast boot for JB .16 Official OTA (NOT x-mas leak.)

Thanks j found it the other night.

Have a new problem now. I'm updated to the latest and rooted. Reinstalled safe strap 3.11 and now I can not get any ROM to take in ROM position 1. Have tried two different custom ROMs and after wiping everything then flashing and rebooting it stays black for a few moments. No boot animation comes up seeming like there is no ROM loaded.

I have tried wiping everything twice before flashing.

Flashing the ROM two or three times after wiping 2 or 3 times.

Deleting the ROM 1 position and redoing it.

Read somewhere to install a stock JB ROM into the slot you are trying to install on first then flash ROM. I can get a stock jb ROM to flash but then the custom ROM does not take and proceeds to do what I mentioned above.

Maybe this is a bug in SS with the latest OTA.

P.s.
Looks like I'm not the only one with this problem.

Finally getting time to updating this thread. So after digging around on xda the other day while waiting to be unloaded at a stop I had found the problem.

Most all of the JB Kernel ROMs out are based on the JB leak which has a different kernel than the official OTA JB update that was pushed out a few weeks ago.

Hey, Brother. I just noticed your thread while browsing this forum. I haven't played around here much; but, like the last fellow said, you can get a solid ROM from that other site. I have my Team's ROM in my signature. It's the best one with little to no issues, and that's my opinion with no issues for me.
