Anyone giving up their S8 to get the U11?

I buy a new phone once every twelve months minimum. Which would leave my next purchase for end September. By then we should see if the Xperia XZ1 will have smaller bezels, and likewise the Pixel 2.

I also wanna see the OP5. If none of these blow me away I'll likely get the U11.

I'm not sure I understand your point... The U11 is late to the party, but your excited about the phones that are coming even later?

I thought I was the only one confused by that lol...

I think they just didn't want to say they like the phone but not interested in getting it which isn't an issue

I also want to see what the OP5 has to offer. I was tempted to pre-order, but I decided to wait until launch. I've learned the hard way with HTC to wait and see.

No way. As soon as the One Plus and some of the late summer flagships started coming out, I would have such buyer's remorse lol

Not that the U11 doesn't look great (it does), but it's a little late to the party imo. At this point I'm pretty happy with the S8, and will wait to see what the late summer/fall has to offer.

I too am going to wait until fall to see what else is going to get released. I'm pretty set to get the U11 now, but I want to see what Axon, OnePlus and others do first. Plus I always wait a few months to get a newly-released phone.

Nope! I frequently post in threads I do not belong. I do love the S8 series, however. I'd be interested in buying the 8 if it wouldn't annihilate my wallet.

They've said it will... The mic on the back can be an always listen mic

That would be a downgrade, IMO.

I disagree. The S8 is a fantastic device. But it doesn't feature hifi dacs like my ZTE axon7. That's why I'd pick the u11.

We all have our wants/needs. I couldn't care less about hifi dacs. But I do care about wireless charging and a headphone jack is a must.

Lack of Wireless charging for me is not a deal breaker. I can't understand the need to take away the headphone jack.

Nope. 8+ has better battery life, 3.5 mm jack and working FM radio. Also like the display ratio works well for game emulators.

Not to mention would be in the money hole since the 8+ is new. U11seems a nice device none the less.

I find it funny how after 2 months or so people are paying off their s8 and selling them just to buy the u11 only for September to come around and people will be selling there u11 for the note 8, people really need to get an life and stop wasting so much money on phones hell I can pay off my phone any time I want and buy new ones but I don't since its just an waste of money, but for you guys who always do it o don't hate good luck I wonder of they are married because my wife would never let get away with that
