Anyone going naked?

I could not find this thread on here so figured I would start one. Anyone using their Pixel/Pixel XL completely naked? And I'm not talking about you yourself being naked lol

I've not used a case on my phones for years. However, the Pixel is the most expensive, most fragile, and most slippery phone I've ever owned. My Lumias and Nexus 5X had no problem holding up against a drop. The Pixel would not stand a chance though, I really wish they would have made it more durable so I didn't have to add an extra lip to the edge of the phone or any un-needed bulk.

Today I ordered the Maxboost mSnap case. It was that or the Maxboost Liquid Skin.

I'd love to go naked. I hate a case on this phone. I have Square Trade so why not? The question is, does anyone know of a good glass screen protector for the XL?

I have a tempered glass from Verizon. Can't remember the company though. It's the best I have found for the Pixel/Pixel XL.

It's a ZAGG. I have it on mine too. It does a good job but it's a hair short on the sides.

I don't have my pixel yet, but I never use a case. Some type of screen protector, that's it.

Bestskinsever clear skin for back, liquid armor for screen. Naked all the way.

I'm gonna have to look up bestskinsever. The only reason I use a case is because like someone else mentioned, the back glass has been scratching way easy. If I can find a "screen protector" for that portion, I'll ditch the case in a heartbeat.

I don't have Pixel device, but it's so slick - I can definitely understand why some of you would want to rock it without a case!

Without a case that glass back is gonna get scratched no matter how much you baby it, unless you only ever set it down on your bed or like a napkin... A skin could potentially solve that I guess tho, but the back still worries me. I've dropped my Nexus 5 a few times in 3 years and I'm certain the TPU case on it helped...

If I cared for skins I'd risk going naked and just rely on the device protection I paid for, but that glass back seems to double my chances for damage since a cracked back could mean a busted camera. I really wish they'd taken advantage of it and added wireless charging I think

TL;DR: No, I'm a wimp. :p

Mines been naked for a week and a half. Hopefully the LifeProof will be released soon...in the mean time I got the Spigen tough armor air cushion case sitting in my po box and a glass screen protector on its way as well.

I always want to go naked but I'm rough on my phone's. Plus the pixel is pretty dam slippery.

I have cases on my Pixel and Z Force - both are too slippery for me to handle naked - better cased than crashed - :)

Just got the Spigen tough armor on and it's a pretty sweet and low profile case. I usually have my phone's in a OtterBox defender of LifeProof. It's definitely easy to hold and grip now

I just have a different approach, especially knowing that I will not sell the phone in the future. I figure I will enjoy it naked as long as I can. If I get a scratch on the back that bothers me, then I can put a case or a wrap on it and cover it. In the end, my scratched phone and a brand new phone wrapped or cased look the same! I am a month in, and the device is still pristine, btw.

Now if I was going to sell it and wanted to say it was mint, that would be a different story and would probably think longer about a case.

I've been using mine naked so far, although it spends 99% of its life in a belt holster, so it's protected whenever it's not in my hand. I'm pretty careful where I set it down, so I'm not too worried about the back glass. Being that it seems to scratch easily, it should also be pretty easy to polish out any scratches that happen over the camera lens.

I really, really want to go naked but I'm not sure yet. I bought a Blue XL so I want to be able to see the phone so I'll either use a skin or a thin, clear case. I do have the Pixel insurance through Google so maybe I should just go naked?

I do have a question on skins though. Are they easy to install? I hate installing screen protectors outside of the tempered glass ones that are peel and place. I hated putting on the old school plastic ones. And are there nice clear ones for the back of the phone?
