Just wondering.... I hope Verizon gets it... I might have to switch the S4 to the N5

Re: Anyone finna get the Nexus 5

From the FCC filing, it won't support Verizon. It will seemingly support Sprint, though.

Re: Anyone finna get the Nexus 5

Two key reasons I like Androids - SD card support and easy to change batteries. Looks like Samsung and Sony, and phones designed for the Asian market are going to be the last ones to support SD cards. I know others don't care about these features, but they are important to me. Moving to a S4 today.

I will support companies that continue to build phones with features i prefer.

I agree about the batteries and sd cards, but If this is 300-350 range, it's going to be keeping my note 3 company.

I agree about batteries and sd cards also, but the push is to the cloud so you have to cut out sd cards so people will use the cloud services more. Also the same reason to do away with unlimited data forces you to use more data and buy more data to stay in touch.

I will admit I am interested in the Nex5. I might buy it outright and use my upgrade for something else.

What's "finna" mean? Is it an English word?

I have no idea why I should upload and pay to store my content into the cloud and then wait for it to download when I can just keep it on my device. All the cloud services I see just give you small amounts of storage space compared to what I can store on an SD card. Good to see that at least two companies see SD cards as important. HTC finds them important for their phones for the Asian market. I would also bet that if Motorola decided to try and sell an of their new phones in Asia the phones for those markets would have SD card slots.

Thank God I'm Canadian. Lol. Seriously though, I find it appalling how much our language is degrading.

I would love the new N5 to have a bottom headphone jack, POGO pins (and accessories to support them), and ALL of the new features of the Moto X (assumes AMOLED screen). Otherwise, pass...

Removable battery & sd card slot. Or 2 day battery & at least 64gb. Otherwise, they can shove it.

You do realize that English is a bastardized hybrid of dozens of other languages, right? Most current English words came into common usage exactly like that

Yeah. It's been a long slow slide down into the abyss.

If Google does allow CDMA (SPRINT) to carry there nexi again (yeah it sounds better than nexuseses, doesn't it ?) I'm going Nexus or Nothing going forward. I'm unable to wait out the carrier updates and OEM BS. I also feel that google has reached a point in maturity where it no longer needs skinning/bloatware to make it more appealing. It does that all its own.
