No, I just loaded lollipop on my nexus 7 with wugfresh, Nexus devices rule! Now if they'd just release factory images for the Nexus 4! ??????

It's out for the Nexus 4 as of now.

Good heavens, what for? It's hardly that important to save a few days. I'd rather spend the money on Wikipedia or some other charity.

i like to get thing done, get things over with and off my plate. when a major new OS update comes out i like to do a hard factory reset and start from scratch and reinstall and re-set up everything. the sooner i get the OTA the sooner i can get that over with. it's not so much getting the "shiny new thing" as "let me get this thing done and off my plate" OCD ADD.

Google does far more good works for the world in terms of ROI than any charity so i don't mind giving them money for value.

I couldn't wait and installed it on a Nexus 7. Not bad at all. I used Wugfresh toolkit and it worked as advertised. I missed a critical step in the beginning and it took about an hour. But once I figured that out it went smooth. It was my first time rooting anything but cnet had a step by step guide.

Grab the WugFresh Toolkit, it does all of the work for you flashing the factory image. Just know that you will get a wiped clean device afterwards.

Doing that with our Nexus 7s at work, and backing up my personal Nexus 10 right now to do the same.

I see how the NRT can be used to unlock and root...but where do you put the 5.0 img? Do you just tell it that's what you are using even if you are on 4.4.4. I ended up just using fastboot.

EDIT: I think I see it now...Its in "Advanced Utilities" "Flash Zip" ?

Nothing in Norway yet. And I'm tired of waiting so I just flashed the image on to my N5.
I'll probably wait for OTA with my N7 (2013), just to see how long it takes for OTA to arrive.

Download image and make a note of where the browser is saving it. Just leave it there. Open Wugfresh and on the main window find the heading; 'Back to Stock'. Withing that headings shaded box menu make sure this is checked, 'Device is on/Normal'. Then, in click on 'Flash Stock + Root'.

A new menu box pops open, Select 'Other/Browse...For use with ANY factory image package:.tgr/.tar and also, select, I downloaded a factory image myself that I would like to use instead. Then Click OK and you will then show wugfesh where to find the image you downloaded!

If you did all the pre set up correctly, developer mode, debug, uncheck MTP etc you'll just sit back and let it happen.
