Anyone have problems with their Prime?

So I got my Tf201 on May 2nd, a couple months have past, and now im noticing problems on my tablet a lot. Btw im running ICS 4.0.3 Build number 9.4.2.28. Nonrooted(I want to root so bad but non for .28. If there is link please ) This is a 32gb +32 SD card armytheist grey

1. It's not that fast honestly. To me, the iPad beats it in speed and overall performance. I expected the Prime to be BLAZING FAST. I see and feel like a lot of lag.

2. When watching youtube at night on my bed, at lowest brightness, the screen brightness keeps changing. Like the video would get brighter and brighter, then darker. I turn on auto brightness, still happens. I turn off auto brightness still happens. This only happens when brightness is at lowest.

3. Apps dont launch fast enough. I would tap on an app like Youtube, and it will glow for about 2 or 3 seconds, then the app pops up.

4.Rear Camera takes a long time to load when switching to camera, video record, or panorama. It would take honestly 5 seconds to switch. Camera has a like a 3 second shutter lag.
Also i expected the camera on the Prime to be AMAZING quality and taking pictures super fast.

5.Video chatting on Skype on both cameras isnt that good. Well my friend says so. On my webcam on my computer, its good he says.

I don't really experience any of these issues. I have a couple of issues that seem like they are supposed to be addressed in 9.4.2.28, don't have it yet, but, if my Prime only gets better I'll be very happy with it.

Of course, since I don't have .28, I guess that's not a very good comparison, I would hope it gets better. But, then again, latest update to my X2 made battery life horrible.

A couple of things. Have you considered a factory reset? Just to see if it runs smoother right off the bat. It's possible that in tinkering with your Prime you did something to it. Or, it's possible that in two months something went wrong on it's own.

Or, do you know anyone else with a Prime that you could compare it to? Or, maybe pop into a store that you can see a demo model of it and compare it with your Prime to see if it's having any of the problems that your Prime is having?

Also, have you checked to make sure that you have your tablet on Performance mode, rather than powersaving? Go to Settings-->Asus Customized Settings-->System Performance, and make sure it says "Performance Mode", rather than "Power Saving mode" or "Balanced Mode". That will burn battery a bit faster, but if you have the dock, battery life is so good that you would still have more than enough.

I'm in balanced mode and my Prime runs fine. I still get random hang ups related to .21, but, I assume/hope those will go away with .28.

I finally got .28 and I'm still experiencing some hangups while browsing. Just rebooted and so far so good. Hopefully it doesn't happen too much. Still extremely happy with my Prime overall.

I'm always running performance because I like to play MC3, and I'm near an outlet so battery life isn't an issue. I haven't noticed any hangs so far.

Well, they weren't playing any games from what I could tell. The issues sounded like ones that you shouldn't news to be on performance mode to correct. The only hangups I was noticing were in the stock browser. Now that I've rebooted since getting. 28 they seem to he gone.

I guess it couldn't hurt for them to try performance mode. But, o don't experience those issues and I'm usually in balanced or power saving.
