Anyone have problems with Whatsapp and LEDs on the G4?

Coming from a G2, I find this annoying: whenever I get a message from Whatsapp, even though I open and read it, the LED light still flashes after until I reboot the G4.

Also, I can't turn off vibration for Whatsapp even though I unchecked vibrate in the latest APK.

Any solutions?

Have you tried uninstalling then re-installing WhatsApp to see if that helps?

Yup tried everything short of a factory reset. Been doing some research and apparently it's an issue in Android 5.1. Just wanted to know if any other G4 users had the same problem.

I see the same thing. But if you hit the square button on the home bar and swipe to remove the Whatapps the LED light will go away. I only get Whatsapp message about once a week so that doesn't bother me too much.

I don't have any issues with the LED blinking for Whatsapp after I read the message. I'd have to check on the vibration function.
