Anyone have regrets getting the Edge over the regular version?

I'm going to order my phone soon, still unsure whether I should get the regular S6 or the edge.

Any edge buyers regret getting the edge version? What are the Prius and cons of the edge in your experience? Notice anything you haven't read about our didn't expect?

I'm still on the fence myself. The Edge feels better in my hand but I'm waiting for more reviews and such. I just read where one unlucky soul cracked his screen on day one - not sure how as of yet.

Undecided also. Noticed the edge vibrates a lot when music is coming thru the speaker, the S6 is less that way. Maybe a personal thing but annoying to me as it makes it seem tinny. Also I find the S6 feels better in hand than the edge, again a personal thing. Then the $100 price differential is another consideration. Overall tho the edge looks lots more unique which gives it a very nice "cool" factor while the S6 looks kind of like any generic (iPhone)device. Either way I'd most likely be getting a case anyhow. Decisions decisions.

To me I wouldn't exactly say the Edge feels better, I did opt for the Edge btw, but I prefer it almost completely because it's different. Might be a silly reason but after the number of phones I've owned I looked forward to something at least slightly unusual.

I was on the fence and actually went to pre-order the regular s6, then midway through the process I switched to the edge. I'm not at all disappointed, but everyone has a different experience. I see a lot of battery life issues people are having but I adjust things to my liking and found that battery life isn't really a problem for me. I didn't expect the display to be as good as it is. It's a bit awkward to type at first because some buttons are right on the curve of the edge, but you'll get used to that. It's super quick but I was used to my S5 developing more and more lag as time progressed. Yeah it is true the edge features are a bit lack luster at the moment but I'm sure in due time there will be plenty of additions. Good luck choosing!

No, I love the edge everyone I show the phone to says it's really cool lol that wouldn't happen with the regular s6

No regrets choosing the edge version. Reflections arent bad, reading is fine, typing is fine. My only issue was with the display that had a stuck pixel. Regardless, I'll be exchanging it for another s6 edge.

I got my edge 128GB sitting here now, but honestly I wish I had the regular S6. Love the design and the curved display, but I feel its too thin on the sides for me to comfortably handle. The crappy part is AT&T starts the clock on the shipping date 4-4 so I have until 4-18 to return, but the S6 128GB is 'Coming Soon' with no ETA. Verizon was 4-17 for Black/White, now its only White and Black is 4-24 and could slip further.

Amazon.com has it showing as 4-27 but AT&T can't say squat about it which is annoying me. I guess at this point I will have to port my number back to Verizon onto an old flip phone and wait for AT&T to get their stuff together then port back and order. This has to be the worst launch for Samsung at least in terms of meeting demand. Just seems screwed up.

NOT AT ALL, no regrets. Everything has been good for me including battery life.

15 hours and 13 minutes and still have 58% left. There is nothing I do not like about it.dc97d1c76f84ba1582da595b79e5df11-awkward-roadtrip-moments-no-ragrets.jpg

No brightness issue? apparently they are on every edge out there. kinda worried to get mine.

I'm deciding between the S6 and the Edge. I like the look of the S6, but I love the look of the Edge. After holding both of the phones in store, I prefer the feel of the regular S6 for the smooth rounded sides. I'm not sure which one I should choose. Feel in hand vs Looks. Also, I'm going to use a case and am worried that cases on the Edge will take away its appeal.

Which one should I choose for a 2-year contract

No regrets. I really dig how the edge gives the device somewhat of 'z' axis. I find it to be comfortable.

There are cases that preserve the edge look of the edge, just gotta look for em, but I decided to go with the S6 after trying both out quite a bit. For me I think the novelty of the edge design would wear off for me plus it really needed a case IMO for comfort if nothing else anyway then it loses something in all that , also the screen brightness issue sealed the deal for me as well as saving 100 bucks.

I can't be sure yet because it's still on Pre-Order but my answer is I'm ok with the Edge. It took me about a 1.5 weeks to decide and a couple of trips to the BestBuy to try their demos to come to my decision. I'll probably use a case with it.

I ordered the Edge but it's on back order, so I also bought the regular S6. I must say, the regular one feel real good in hand. I cant wait for the Edge to come in.

Love the edge. My wife's white 64gb has a pinkish hue to both edges. My 128gb sapphire has a slight blueish hue on the edges. But overall I love it

I almost jumped ship to the s6 but stuck with the edge tonight. My wife and I both got the edge. The S6 edge has less to hold on to the sides but looks so good. If you don't think the edge looks better than stay with the S6. You won't miss the extra features at all and you will save money.

No regrets besides lifeproof not commiting to making a case for s6 edge. But the actual phone is amazing a d everyone asks what phone do I have. Loving it
