Anyone have regrets getting the Edge over the regular version?

So here's my honest opinion. I got the edge knowing the features were a gimmicks and liking how different it looks. However after some time the novelty wore off and the compliments get stale. Now with the phone being so uniquely unconventional in design, you have a few limitations on accessories and a phone that to me feels not as good in hand as the regular s6.

If I could go back I would have spent the extra $100 on the 128GB regular. I don't hate the edge, I just prefer the feel in hand of the regular s6.

TL;DR - Get the edge if you don't mind losing ergonomic design for a talking piece and flashy phone. It's perfect for bragging or having something that is extremely unique, but not practical.

Perfect example of everyone being different. I like the feel of the edge much better than the regular s6! And there's a ton of cases for it, but not sure what other accessories you may be referring to.

You're definitely right, everyone is different. There are battery case, tempered glass, some novelty cases, etc. it's just more available for the s6. Not saying they don't exist but a perfect example is tempered glass. I can get one for regular s6 for $6. Cheapest I can get one for s6 edge is $40. Not deal breakers, just small things that bother me.

I got the white s6 edge and my mum got the standard s6 in black. I think that standard s6 feels a lot better in the hand, edge is too thin to hold it comfortably and I find it harder to pick up from flat surface. I got the white version because it shows off the edges, in black colour they are a bit more hidden and not as noticible. I love the battery life and fast charging, by far my favourite feature of the phone. I also got the Ringke slim clear case, it looks really nice on the phone. However after upgrading from HTC one M7 gpe I miss the stock android look, touchwiz is still ugly. Hopefully after android m release someone will port stock version to edge :)

If you aren't against rooting, they already have reskinned themes from the theme store that look just like stock Android.

Also, I pretty much did the same. Got white edge. I think it looks amazing, but definitely feels too thin and like the black look better.

I preferred the standard S6 than the edge. Unfortunately the standard S6 only came with 32gb which is not enough storage given it would leave just over 20gb for use. So i settled on the 64gb edge. In saying that, I can upgrade yearly with my current contact. So 11 months to go until my next upgrade😆
