Anyone having any issues ?

I need to entirely silence my ringer all day at work, but want to know by vibration about calls and texts. I keep the phone in Normal mode, but hold down the volume button until it goes past silent to vibrate. This works perfectly, and I'm only embarassed by the ringer when I forget to do this.

HTH

Have you tried your method with incoming text messages? I just tried and my text notification sound went off and changed my sound profile to Normal.

mines stuck in boot loop, tried to bring up the hard reset menu by holding the volume down button. As soon as i go to hit vol. down to select factory restore or reboot it vibrates and flashes back to the htc one quietly brilliant screen then goes black and so on. The phone however will launch in safe mode if i hold the power button and the phone is then fully functional, however; as soon as i let go the power button, a second or two later the phone shuts off and goes back to the vibrating htc quietly brilliant screen...?

I keep having the FM Radio crash with a blue tooth error. This has been reported elsewhere if you look around and appears to be common to the phone after 4.3. http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-one/320467-radio-crashing-bt-error.html

Blue tooth is off and it seems to be linked to the FMRadioService where I can reset it without rebooting the phone. Generally It crashes after an hour or two. No problems when I use things like TuneIn Radio but I would rather use the OTA signal when possible.

Bluetooth Call sound quality

Hey Everyone,

I have the One for a week now. Generally it works great. After 2 system updates that came along (now running 4.3) I noticed that the call sound quality in both directions has deteriorated noticeably. At my end, I hear a high pitched squeak or rattle in the callers voices. The people I am talking to tell me I sound garbled/tinny to them. Before the updates. the sound was perfect. I don't notice the same problem while playing music. So that kind of rules out a blown speaker in the BlueAnt IQ3 that I am using. I am thinking either that there is a problem with the phone sound circuitry in the phone or the earset.

I tested the earset with my older phone, and at least the incoming sound was OK. By process of elimination, I am leaning towards the idea that the most recent update to the One screwed up the BT phone sound.

Oddly enough, I have older earsets (Plantronics and Jabra) that sound OK, but being several years older, they have different BT specifications (lower level) so it's not an apples-to-apples comparison. I like the BlueAnt because it started out with awesome sound and it has PBAP, so announces by name who is calling.

I suspect that the phone sound and the music sound go through different paths. And Yes, I have updated the BlueAnt earset to the most recent firmware.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
