Anyone having exchange issues...?

Hey guys, a little help, please:

1) Messages pushed to my Hotmail account (setup as exchange) continue to notify and flag as unread despite me reading them and marking unread several times. Eventually they remain properly flagged as unread.

2) Sometimes exchange sync fails on some of my accounts with no apparent pattern for no discernible rhyme or reason.

I have verified all my server settings, deleted and re-added the accounts several times, including battery pulls for good measure.

Yes, both DH and I have been having random sync errors with our exchange accounts. My problem seems to have abated, but poor hubby is getting lots of calendar sync problems. Everything functions fine when we delete and then re-add the account, but that is tedious at best. Would love to know what to do to fix this problem.

I get the sync error once in a great while.
I have my corporate email sent to push 8-6 weekdays, 30 mins intervals otherwise.

While at work, I use Outlook 2010 as my mail client on my PC. Periodically I get the sync error. I do nothing. It could be an error for 30 minutes but it fixes itself every time.

Lots of reasons it could error. If you're deleting/modifying/creating a record in the middle of a sync you could get an error.

I deleted an email on my phone and before it synced with Outlook I took that same email and moved it to a subfolder...it error'd, but it soon corrected itself.

How much time are you allowing yourself to fix the error?

More of a question and additional info...

1. I did not think webmail such as hotmail can be pushed/treated like exchange? Are you merely refering to the fact that you are using the mail program to handle the mail?

2. My wife has similar problems with a hotmail account on a Fascinate. She will read and then delete on the handheld. Then when she logs into the webmail on her pc, the mail shows back up on the handheld and shows as being unread.

In my time on a Blackberry, hotmail accounts always were difficult, at best, to configure. I always chalked her problems up to that and told her to ditch the hotmail for yahoo or gmail.

I have also been experiencing more than normal sync errors lately. I sync a work account (Exchange activesync and one gmail) After some thought, I tied the start of the problem back to the flashing of a different kernel. Last night, I wiped the device and started fresh. So far so good but Monday when I go back to work will be the real test.

Not sure I provided any help but maybe some things to look at
