Anyone having issues with the Sim tray?

So when I was looking around the phone, I noticed that my sim tray wasn't flush or level with the side of my phone, like one side of the tray is more in the phone but I put a picture in here, but is anyone else having this issue of the sim tray not level with the phone and will it affect the waterproofing feature?

Mine looks pretty flush... In theory everything 'open' in the phone is covered with hidrophobic nanocoating, so you should be OK. But if it bothers you, the sooner you get a warranty replacement the better chances you have of getting a new unit and not a refurb. On the other hand, due to high demand, it might take longer for you to actually get a replacement.

You can try and take it to a store and ask them to let you try another Edge's tray in yours and viceversa. Kinda see if it's the tray or your phone's port.

I looked at a couple videos and it looked like some other peoples sim tray had a problem too.
