Anyone having texting issues?

When I text anyone,* it takes forever to send and most times fails. Pictures don't send nor do I get them till hours or so later.

I'm using native texting app and am on T-Mobile

I'm on Verizon Wireless, could be a carrier issue. I can send text, picture, and video messages easily.

How is your cell signal? Are you using WiFi calling when this happens?

T-mobile in Detroit here and no issues. May want to go to a T-Mobile store and get a new sim.

This has been one of the best texting experiences using the stock texting app in a long time. No issues.

How strong is the reception in your area?

You may have to "adjust" some APN settings and try different options.

I'm on AT&T and discovered through one of these threads that I was not the only one having trouble with MMS. This started happening after one of the updates. The fix for now, if you're having trouble sending attachments, is to turn off Wi-Fi; then you can turn it back on after your message has been sent. Annoying, but gets the job done.

I ended up backing up my phone and then did a factory reset and that seemed to work. thank you all for your replies. I'll definitely try some of these suggestions if it happens again..
