Anyone here not using a screen protector for their Note 8?

After several attempts with tempered glass and film screen protectors, I give up. The curved screen seems to make it impossible for the screen protectors to adhere for any length of time. Aside from not adhering, the tempered glass screen protectors I've tried caused a significant reduction in response to the touchscreen. Looking at reviews, it doesn't appear there is any screen protector for the Note 8 that doesn't have issues. I have a nice case for the phone, but I don't like not having a screen protector. I'm not sure what else to do at this point. I don't have the $$$ to keep wasting on screen protectors that don't work. The Note 8 screen is gorgeous, but now I'm regretting having the curved screen.

I'm using one just fine. Although it does tend to slide around a bit.

Before the Note 8 I never used a screen protector but with this curved screen, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm currently using: SUPCASE Galaxy Note 8 Screen Protector, Premium Edge-to-Edge Full Coverage Tempered Glass Screen Protector With Mounting Tool for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (2017 Release).

I purchased mine from Amazon and it works great and doesn't diminish screen quality or visibility. With the mounting tool that comes with it, it wasn't difficult to install either. The current cost is only $9.13.

I bought my note 8 alone with zagg invisible shield curve glass which is $49.99 on Oct 3 2017 the thing would slid and move finally popped off and cracked so got a 2nd ($9.99 shipping) one Oct 15 it did the same thing .. on the 3rd one now along with a 2nd note 8 since after the 2nd screen protector came off a week later my screen was crack so $199.00 later and both the phone and zagg invisible shield curve glass new.. I won't be buying anymore zagg invisible shield curve glass

I started using screen protectors after I broke an unbreakable screen on a Kyocera Brigadier. Every phone since has had a screen protector. I'm already on my 2nd screen protector on my Note 8 after a short drop (3') from my pocket to the ground as I got out of my car. Screen protector broke, but the screen was fine. I am using an Olixar tempered glass protector with my Otterbox Commuter case and feel like this phone is pretty well protected.

I am sorry you broke your screen and the Zagg protector repeatedly didn't work for you. Fortunately, so far, I haven't had the same difficulties with my Zagg protector, but then I haven't dropped my phone except on to a carpeted floor. It might not have made a difference, but I had my protector installed at Verizon by a guy there who did most of the installs for the other representatives who didn't have luck or skill putting protectors onto curved screens. I had to wait for him to do it, but it was worth the wait.

No screen protector for me. Haven't used one since the Note 4.

Note 7
S7E
S8+
Note 8.

Haven't found the need for one.

Yeah, I've been looking through it and have only seen lots of recommendations for the use of screen protectors... I got a screen protector at the Verizon store when I bought the phone and in two weeks the corner started to peel. I didn't realize it was doing this until I noticed the lack of sensitivity when trying to drag the notification bar down. Since then I ripped it off and have rocked it without one.

You can try the liquid glass screen protector. It bonds on a cellular level with the glass. That's all I use. You have protection and an invisible protector.

I use a 360° clear soft gel front and back protector. Found one on mobilefun. It's a UK website. Ps I'm not a spammer

I've had the invisible shield glass since day one and I've dropped my phone 3 times from 4ft at the World Series games in Houston, and its still flawless. The edges get a couple hairs here and there but nothing major

I normally put a thin case and screen protector when I first get a new phone. I use them during the 14 day refund period to keep the phone looking like new. I bought this SP and have not taken it off.

It is almost invisible and feels almost like glass. It is case friendly.

I use the Armor suit screen protector that is case compatable. (There are 2 on Amazon one says Case compatable) It cost me about $8 and a child could put this thing on. What most people won't like is that it uses a spray on liquid for application. All you do is turn off your phone for application. Guaranteed no air bubbles. And it wraps around the edges. If you screw it up just pull it off and start over. Get your phone warranteed because you broke it? Pull the screan protector off and put it on your new Note 8. I have used this brand for Note4,5,7,8, and S7 edge. Tactile feel is better than the naked screen ( I find the screen to have a too slick feel to it) and The screen actually feels like writing on paper with the s pen.

I have the Whitestone dome glass protector with a spigen slim fit case. Tried the spigen neo flex protector but it was absolutely horrible - the texture made using the s pen difficult and affected touch input. I had it on for all of an evening before ordering the Whitestone one on prime.

The Whitestone protector is expensive but I have had no issues with it and it fits perfectly. I would much rather pay for a protector than crack the screen - I dropped my Nexus 6p onto tarmac which broken the protector but the screen was ok underneath.

I'm not using a screen protector and haven't had any micro scratches or anything.

Put a Spigen Neo-Flex on day 1, but a few weeks down the line took it of and its been naked ever since, I do use the Samsung Rugged case.
Used a protector on my Note 4 for around 18 months, then took it off and after around 10 months it was still in perfect condition, I am, however, very kind on phones:)
