Apple's going to have no problem selling phones this year no matter what they do.
Hell the Iphone 5S had to have been the stalest "Upgrade" I've seen and from what I heard it sold circles around the Iphone 5. That was despite all the review sites and news articles bashing it for the lack of innovation.

So jealous of you guys, my local Bestbuy doesn't have the Galaxy S5 on display and it's not worth the drive to the closest one which is like 2-3 hours.

are you saying the the S4 is still a virgin? I always figured that someone must have found a way to break it by now... guess not... If that's the case, I imagine the S5 must be even harder to crack, no?

the s4 was cracked by a loki exploit. that has since been patched and no one has attempted to do it again. i assume the s5 will be just as hard. not worth it IMO.

So Verizon was the last to get the HTC One last year and now they are going to get a two week exclusive? Makes no sense. And why two weeks?

No doubt the S5 is nice, but it's not nice enough that I HAVE to have it, as I felt about the S3 or Evo 4G when I got those. I'm going to wait for the M8, G3, or Note 4. All smartphones are good enough these days, that the tie breaker for me will be the camera. I'm tired of ho-hum shots.

As for Amazon phones? I own a Kindle Fire HDX 8.9. Beautiful hardware turned into a crippled piece of junk by crap software and marketplace. Luckily, I got it with some stale airline points precisely so I wouldn't be upset if I didn't like it. No way I'm ever going to buy an Amazon gadget.

I didn't say I won't end up with an S5. I just said it hasn't convinced me that it will be superior to the others I listed. I can wait.
