Anyone jumping to a Huawei 6P or sticking with the Moto N6?

I thought briefly about switching to the new Huawei Nexus but decided to stay with my still spectacular Motorola Nexus.
I, personally, do not see it as an upgrade. More of a lateral move.
The N6 will be getting Marshmallow soon so not a big whoop there.
Couple of interesting changes but nothing to shatter the Earth and me picking one up. Opinions vary, of course.
I do hope they succeed and Huawei sticks around in the US of A. Always good to have more players.

So anyway, staying with the Motorola or getting the Huawei?

Well the Moto Nexus 6 is still new to me, so I will be sticking with it. I don't find the Moto camera to be terrible, and I would hate to lose wireless charging.

Now if they release a Droid Turbo with the same screen size as this, with wireless charging, and a super battery, I could bail on my N6

No, skipping a release. I will wait until 2016 when the specs jump a bit more. Plus I don't want to go with a smaller screen.

I'm waiting for the Android M update. Battery life on my one month old Nexus 6 is deplorable. My hope is that with the M update battery life will significantly improve. If not, the Moto X Pure Edition will become my daily driver. The Nexus 6 is a great phone, but the battery life leaves a lot to be desired.

I will wait for some everyday use reviews by users then will decide if I should upgrade. These forums are the best for real user reviews.

Same here. My Nexus 6 does everything I need and more. I may even wait until '17 when the '16 Nexus prices drop a bit. The new Nexus is only a minor bump in specs, and in real world usage probably won't be any faster. I run a tweaked custom rom that is blazing fast as is. No need to upgrade for me.

Same here. I'll not upgrade Nexus 6 to 6P or even 5X. No big deal finger scanner, better camera for me. What Nexus 6 is the best? Radio signal, first phone which doesn't lost signal etc.

Only just got the N6 after a not very long lived move over to the dark side (iPhone 6 Plus).
On balance its probably the best phone I've owned - a much smoother experience than the laggy Samsung's I've had in the past.

The camera is ok - not great but not bad either.

Battery life leaves a lot to be desired but between turbo charge, a couple of QI pads dotted around the place and a very pocket friendly battery bank it's not causing me any real pain. Plus it sounds like M comes with very significant improvements in that department.

A fingerprint scanner is the second best way of unlocking a phone behind smart unlock so meh on that. I may feel differently when Android Pay comes to the UK but if it's just a case of drawing your pattern to authorise a payment then it's not a big deal - I can draw my pattern just as quickly as my iPhone recognised my fingerprint (i.e. very quickly).

Unless something major changes I think my new pattern of buying phones will be to wait for the major price drop on the latest Nexus, just before the new one comes out. The days of the latest generation being that much better than the last are over IMO and it's not worth paying the premium to have it.

I am 11 months in, and I want to throw mine in a garbage disposal. I hope Android M is the fix.

If my N6 had a fingerprint reader I wouldn't even consider moving away from it I love the phone. I've moved to long passwords and using lastpass so a fingerprint reader will be a really a wonderful addition to my next phone.

That said I agree with the assertion that the P isn't that much of an upgrade all around to warrant the expense of the upgrade, so I'll be patient and see what else comes out that might grab my attention.

My N6 is great...the camera takes great pictures and the battery life is very good. Not one single battery issue

I believe finger print for old phones will be covered by pattern lock. This is second fastest way to unlock or do quick payments usint it. Im waiting for Android Pay in UK.

I ditched my Note 4 for a N6 about a month ago. I thought about returning it and ordering the N6P but I don't think it's worth the hassle. I am very happy with the N6 and I will be sticking with it until 2016.

I dismissed the N6 as soon as I heard the size leaked before launch. Wasn't till I seen it in person that I could truely appreciate how nice it was.

Even considered buying one a few months ago and it's the main reason I'll most likely get the Moto X Pure.

If I had the N6 I wouldn't upgrade. If I had neither I would most likely get the Nexus P

Still impressed with the N6....

I am not a fan of Huawei. I will stay with my n6 and if I do make the jump I will go with the LG nexus 5x.
