Anyone know anything about Splashtop Remote?

Well I have splashtop for my touchpad and have never had a problem, I bought it from the Rezound today. Got home and got it setup according to splashtop, and if I am on my wifi network I can log onto my computer with it, but when I try 3g it says connection failed. Any ideas? All the settings and everything are correct so Im not sure whats going on.

I don't have this, but maybe the it's trying to access a different port on your router? May need to open a different port in the router settings.

I've found that Splashtop does not work for me outside of my local wifi network. As an replacement I use Jump Desktop, I can highly recommend this app. You can be outside of your home wifi network on 3g, 4g, any g and it will still remote in. Or another alternative that I like is Logmein Ignition.

hmmm I'll check out Jumpdesktop. but I've already paid for splashtop and really like it on my touchpad. came out to town today and its working today on my phone, I must have not had strong enough data yesterday for it to work.

I use pocketcloud, and even though it only allows a single machine in the free version it's friggin awesome. Runs standard RDP, has right click, ctrl keys etc...

OT, check your router setup. If it works internally but not externally(3G) then it's more than likely a port forwarding issue.
