Does anyone know what this 'N' icon is in the top bar?

It's not in the instruction manual.

acualy i saw my first other s3 in the wild yesterday in the city centre.
im dreading everyones upgrade... i like to be different.
r ther s3s everywhere in the US? im hoping it will be too big and show-offy for my fellow modest scotsmen

It looks like the old Netscape N. I don't know for sure, but I bet it's NFC though.

That's the standard NFC icon. Just go to other settings and check the NFC and voila.

Havent seen another s3 here in the US of A...but i do get alot of compliments of how sick the phone looks...plus its white so it stands out )

Thats the NFC icon. You could turn it of in settings.
Here (montreal canada) theres a lot of S3's. Very popular. I know at least 6/7people with this phone.

In my case it's a screenshot of my phone. Taken a few seconds before posting notice the minutes match, the time does as well if you're in Atlantic time zone.
