i mean, you just bought the razr, and now there's one with a huge battery coming out on the 26th....

Considering people who bought the razr saw the same thing happen to the bionic, no. And I have no pity for the imbeciles who buy the razrmaxx. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

And just buy an extended battery and you have a maxx, don't worry, neither will be updated in a timely manner.

i have to agree.

i unfortunately experienced the bionic debacle first hand. i won't buy any more moto phones, ever, and am happy i rid myself of the bionic.

whoever handles marketing for moto needs to be fired. it's no surprise tat i recently read moto's profits are down. they repeatedly screw their customers.

No, because we can't be upset over a phone company releasing new products. The same thing goes for any form of electronics from computer parts, tablets, televisions, etc. You can't always have the best and if you try, it will become expensive. Trust me, I would know as I've been through it.

I don't understand the anger at this. It's just a bigger battery, nothing else. I'm still within my return period and have no intention of trading my Razr in for the Maxx.

Companies release new and upgraded products all of the time. This is no DIFFERENT.

I wish people would stop getting up in arms over a PHONE! It's just a PHONE!

Hopefully things will change under Google ownership.

I don't blame razr owners being upset about this. But, in all honesty, after the Bionic, did they think this sort of thing was a one time thing?

How long a period of time between the og droid, droid 2, droid 3 and Droid 4? How long between the x and x2?

Wouldn't it be amazing if the first set of Motorola phones released with quad core processors still use Gingerbread as well as the same known bugs.

You really enjoy trolling, don't you? Why aren't you discussing your Nexus with the other Nexus owners?

Trust me when I say the G Nex has its fair share of issues. ICS too.

Put it like this: I will be sending it back to Verizon today and testing out a Rezound in its place. IMO stock ICS, unlocked bootloader, higher res screen , developer phone wasnt worth it. I wanted to have 3 phones, now I will stick with 2 or just have my trusty RAZR. I need a reliable phone first, everything else 2nd.

Believe me I tested it in as many situations as I could, and it matched, was close or did batter than the RAZR in some areas. So I dont buy the bad phone, try exchanging it line. One area it failed constantly and consistently in tho...was a deal breaker for me.

As far as lag...how come my RAZR handles live wallpapers better than my G Nex?

Upset about the RAZR Maxx? Not really....cuz I already decided to go the external battery pack route anyway. For current and future phones. Woulda been nice to have the bigger battery, but nothing to be upset about...cuz I already had decent battery life with the RAZR.

he's not trolling, he's discussing the topic at hand. why don't you take a pill, man.

No, neither of you arent discussing the topic at hand with the lil extra comments. I suggest you go back and reread....your....post...ya know the orig post?

I don't go into the Nexus forum and talk about the terrible signal quality. And believe me, there are TONS of threads about that problem.

Don't believe me about him? Check out some of his posts in other parts of the forum. It's pretty pathetic.

I'll call a troll when I see one. And that's exactly what I'm doing.

Pretty humorous when you think about it. If Moto (or any phone manufacturer) waits a long time between new releases, the carriers and the consumers get upset because they're not pushing the envelope (RIM anyone?), if they unveil new releases frequently, those consumers who no longer have their "state of the art, leading edge" toy get upset.

Nature of the business dictates it will always be this way. I look at it as having two choices: the first is to try and stay current buying new phones when my contract period dictates and knowing that within 4 weeks, my phone is no longer considered the latest technology. The second is to wait longer and buy a new phone 8-10 weeks or longer after being released when the price has gone down and with no concern with acquiring the latest technology. It's always fleeting.

One other thing, I understand there are a large number of phone fanatics who must have the latest and buy the latest technology at the highest market entry price. That's great as well, but most of us choose not to go through phones that fast.

true there is always a new one right around the corner, of course.

however, it seems that moto releases a defective one (my bionic lol), or a watered down one, and then releases a much better phone that they put more effort into right after most folks can exchange....

Understand your frustration with Moto. A family member has had the same frustration with HTC and the Incredible. After two phones going on three, experience indicates it is a piece of junk. It's up to the carrier & manufacturer to make amends if the defects are in the design and are being experienced by many customers.

I've owned three Motorola phones going on four, and I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Glad I didn't go with the Bionic.
