Anyone notice the Google Now shortcut in Jelly Bean?

I was messing around with my phone when I accidentally hit the back key. Out of instinct, I held my thumb there to keep it from backing out and noticed that dragging up from any of the capacitive buttons brings a shortcut to Google now. Did anyone else notice this, or was this already brought up and I'm dumb?

How were you accessing Google Now before?

I knew it was possible to drag up from the home button, but that's it.

Swiping up from the bottom of the screen is the gesture for Google Now. It was demoed at Google IO.

The home screen unlocker or the Google bar on any home screen.

I haven't had time to watch the video from I/O. Sorry for posting something that was already common knowledge.
