Anyone notice this odd, but minor glitch?

Sometimes when the phone is on and you connect to charge the backlight comes on dimly and stays on? Like a faint glow. Had it happen a few times already and it just needs the power button pressed twice - bring the screen on and off again. Not a big deal but I keep an eye out for it cause I don't like the idea of the backlight shining constantly for long periods taking away from it's life effeciency. So, anyone else come across this?

Reminded me that there is a setting for it though: settings > applications > development > stay awake, uncheck

Interesting, what is the Stay Awake setting for? Like, will it do something other than stop the backlight from coming on?

I think it's main purpose is for developmental purposes, testing and such. I actually have it on because I use the Dock Home application, but I don't actually have a Desk Dock, so without it ordinarily the screen would just shut off.

I'm pretty sure its just for keeping the backlight on when charging.

I've never had that function on but it still Glows periodically. It doesn't consistently glow with every unplug.
