My YouTube app is so choppy sometimes it drives me crazy to use it. My wife's Maxx is as smooth as butter. I already tried clearing cache but it didn't help. I am going to use the browser for now because I don't notice much on it. I hope they fix it though.

That sucks :( Is it bad on wifi or mobile data or both? Have you looked at your default settings for video quality, etc? If it previously worked well you can typically revert to an earlier version of the app.

Have you tried freeing up some RAM? Hold the home key for a second. Press "Task Manager." At top, press RAM. Then press "clear memory." This should free up RAM. Go to the home screen, then hold the home key for a second. At the bottom, press "Close all." This will close active apps. It too will free up RAM. After doing this, try launching You tube again and see if this helps.

Im not having any of those issues on carrier network or WiFi, and i have HQ turned on by default.

Thanks for the responses. HQ is turned on by default, I had all extra programs shut down and ram cleared. It doesn't seem to matter what network. I checked and the bar was loaded at the bottom. I remember seeing it some at the Verizon store when I picked it out but I was hoping for and update, last night it just seemed worse.

I have no issues in my Note 3... But I'm on a factory-unlocked international version, so that might be a differentiating factor.

I'm on an international version and I have to say I've noticed a few problems. I've had this phone for around 8 weeks now and came from a Galaxy s4 which didn't suffer anything of the same issues. What I have noticed though is that when youtube starts stuttering my phones wifi signal drops in and out

I'm on a T-Mobile one and do not have this issue. On either HSPA, LTE, or WiFi.
