Hi, everyone,
I've had the Tab S 10.5 WiFi+LTE version (SM-T805), purchased in Thailand, for about 2 months now. Using it to watch movies on it only, and have this problem:
If I connect my Bluetooth LG HBS-900 headphones the video and sound are choppy and stutter so badly that is impossible to watch.
Discovered accidentally that with the same headphones, if I have the tablet connected to WiFi network, both sound and video improve dramatically, but still far from perfect. The headphones are working very well with my Asus laptop's Bluetooth, so I'd expect the problem lies with the tablet.
Anyone else noticed this, or being able to help?
The tablet runs on the installed Android 4.4.2 I bought it with, the stuttering is happening without any other applications running while the video player is in use.

Thanks,
Iacobra

I don't have the same model you have since mine was bought in the US, but I've had no issues with BT Audio EXCEPT with Netflix and some streaming apps. And I can say it's an app issue because if I stream, say, HBO Go, the audio syncs, but if I try with Netflix, the audio and video are very out of sync. Same thing happens (only with those apps) if I try to mirror the screen to a TV; audio is out of sync.

What I did have were BT issues with both this tablet and the Note 10.1 caused by SideSync. In my case, if I had WiFi and BT on at the same time, WiFi would immediately slow down to a crawl. Once I 'killed' the SideSync process, things would go back to normal, and if I started SideSync again (yes, I do actually use it) it would stay OK. It's weird, sometimes it happens, sometimes it won't. It was worse a few updates ago (back then, when I first reported the issue, restarting SideSync would kill WiFi no matter what if I was using BT, too).

I too use Bluetooth earphones, and haven't experienced any of the problems described by others. The only problem that I have is that the audio is out of sync, but not terribly! But the sync issues are really not the fault of the tablet or the earphones. That is just the nature of the beast with Bluetooth, and it is the technology itself. Bluetooth has always had sync issues, this is why Bluetooth is great for music and radio, but video is going to have these sync issues.

I recently purchased and have been trying to screen mirror Netflix over Allshare Cast Hub. Results are miserable. I got about 10 minutes into the movie and it crashed my tablet. Happened 2X's until I changed screen res to basic on my tablet. The Netflix now plays but there's a noticeable lag on the voices. Talked through Samsung chat support. They recommended I clear cache etc. Nothing changed. I'd asked for any firmware updates for Hub, nothing, or any software updates for mirroring, nothing.
Kind of annoying since I bought the latest and greatest tablet, and that Allshare Hub was not cheap at $69.
All this gadgetry is not working out so well.
