Anyone on line or score a GN at a store today?

Just wondering if anyone is actually on line today at one of the locations that said they would sell the phone today, or if anyone has actually bought one today? Would be interesting to get a list of stores going.

just called my verizon store here that opened at 8AM eastern time and the guy said that the launch date was next friday...havent confirmed this with any other stores though

I'm heading to my store at 9 to see if they have a demo at least (and bust their chops for this horrendous launch). I called before I left work yesterday and they said, it wasn't on sale today.

All of the corporate stores in my area have demo units (although I haven't made it over there to see one for myself). It's likely that you'll find one to try out.

I just stopped by my local Asheville store when they opened at 9am. The manager nonverbally indicated that, although he has phones in stock, they aren't releasing the it today. I asked about a possible Sunday release and he didn't know but didn't think it would be available then. He said that it would probably be available sometime mid next week. I'm going to stop into my Arden store this Sunday and try again.

"indefinitely" is the word I heard yesterday also. That's not good.

Indefinitely doesn't mean anything. It just repeats what we already know, Verizon hasn't announced a release date.

Just got back from the 0900 appointment I made earlier this week at my local corp store. As expected, no joy. The rep said he thought it would release on the 15th (but he admitted he didn't know anything for sure), and also said he thought (not a fact, just his thoughts) they pushed it back to let the XY tablet release first. This is exactly the reason I believe we lost the release today...get another bloat device out first. And honestly, I think we'll loose the 15th as well, to the Droid 4 releasing on the 22nd. As long as they have another Droid (bloat) device ready to sell before Christmas day, I don't think they're going to let the Nexus out. My personal suspicions are that we will see this phone the week after Christmas.
